I think I also have a copy of the book but I have not read it yet. It is not possible to predict solar storms with advance of more hours. However, two things are true:
- The solar cycle of 11 years should now turn to the max and in fact around that time there will be 'the next maximum.
- can not predict the intensity of solar storms more strong. But in the nineteenth century is a UFO encounter unusually strong storm that is referred to as Carrington event.
